Separate districts, POA nets and individual schools
The table lists Primary One and all-grade enrolment by district, while the Primary One Admission system operates through official school-net boundaries. A district, a POA net and a school are different layers. Verify the relevant official boundary first, then examine participating schools instead of applying a district total to one school.
Use a snapshot for scale, not as a trend
The downloaded district file is one official snapshot and does not provide a multi-year series for each district. It can compare enrolment scale within the same table, but it cannot show which district is growing, shrinking or receiving more families. A trend needs comparable years measured on the same basis.
Turn district context into practical family checks
Use the district table to organise schools that need closer checking, then test travel from home or a caregiver’s address. During visits, ask about class arrangements, transition support and school transport. These questions affect a child’s daily life and are more useful than guessing district competition.
